Local branch of the Green Party of England and Wales. We currently have 2 councillors on the council and are aiming for more this May.

All of our posts are promoted Stephen Gray on behalf of Coventry Green Party at 42 Holland Road, Coventry CV6 1JA.
National campaigns affect us locally too. Coventry Council have a contract with Palantir for software used in children's services. This is under review after pressure from campaigners including the Green and Independent alliance group in the council.
“We are putting Palantir on notice. This is a military surveillance company tied to authoritarian surveillance and the devastation in Gaza — and it has no role in our NHS.”

Green Party leader Zack Polanski on why Palantir must be kept out of the National Health Service.

To those saying, "but the Greens will split the vote":
1. Things have changed.
2. It's not the Green's fault that Starmer has the Merdas Touch (turns everything to shit)
3. When the Greens offer the only inspiring option, perhaps we should see the Labour candidate as splitting the vote.

Labour took votes for granted.

They've blown it.

Green Party want to lower bills, protect our NHS and rebuild our public services.

Vote Green - and stop Reform.

Starmer has little to offer voters of either right or left in Gorton and Denton. That’s why he’s facing a perfect storm | Owen Jones
The Greens are buoyant as Labour struggles. After shredding any semblance of a progressive agenda, fear of Reform is all the PM’s party has left, says Guardian columnist Owen Jones

Scrapping the two-child benefit cap is long overdue and welcome.

But while Labour dragged its feet and Reform want to turn the clock back, the overall benefit cap is still in place and still traps families in poverty. It’s time to scrap it.
