Alcohol is an aphrodisiac, and it is commonly used in the right quantities to lower inhibitions for ritual. Many people drink a glass before full moon rituals, and find it opens the 3rd eye further and makes it easier to relax in the ritual. Also, full moons are a time for magic and manifestation.

What you do is judge people you've never spoken to, and then encourage others to do the same. That is dangerous, cult-like thinking that will harm every person in the end. You ought to consider the aspects you embody with this sort of behavior. Blessed be.
