20. Leftie. Work in cybersecurity. Trains are cool.

In that order.
Maybe it's because it's so early, but I genuinely think the season is over already.

Great points for Sauber, Williams and AM - RB will surely get points with that pace, and Alpine are looking infinitely better than Haas.
March 16, 2025 at 6:06 AM
Actually what were Haas thinking. If you're gonna gamble on the rain, don't just give up because it comes two laps later.

Don't put just before the safety car comes in lmfao

They'll claim it's knife crime or homelessness or house prices, but none of that can truly be pinned on him. Central government kept trying to undermine him with funding cuts and it never worked.

He's done a great job.

I really doubt it. Alpine are building their team around him, I doubt Gasly would give up being clear #1 to go be a #2 at a team that will drop him at the slightest sign of problems
December 7, 2024 at 7:57 PM
I reckon it'll either be the US feds - although not under Trump unless MBS personally annoys him - or the EU.

Thats what got FIFA done (although not much actually changed).
December 3, 2024 at 1:52 PM
Welcome to the wonderful world of Alpine. It's brutal.
December 1, 2024 at 10:45 PM
So painfully tacky. Give me those 123 boards that the cars knock over instead of a gaudy 5 billion pixel screen
December 1, 2024 at 5:41 PM
Bottas too if Albon gets his penalty for punting Magnussen
December 1, 2024 at 5:27 PM
That's totally fine, setting a fastest lap could just mean you sent it in S2/3; the telemetry will show if Max lifted or not

I only keep half an eye on Irish politics but it does often feel like FG and FF are whatever the opposite of two people in a trenchcoat pretending to be one is.

I agree it's vague, but drivers have been consistently penalised for aborting a pitstop too late. Sainz was clearly intending to enter the pit lane, and aborted last-minute in a dangerous manner.

It should've been noted/investigated at least.
November 24, 2024 at 2:20 PM
Below is the Race Director's diagram of the pit lane. Orange shows pit entry and exit.

The Race Director's notes make no mention of pit entry, so Article 4d should've applied.
November 24, 2024 at 11:37 AM
ISC, Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 4d:

"Except in cases of force majeure [or RD/Course Clerk exception]...any part of a tyre of a car entering the pit lane must not cross... any line painted on the track for the
purpose of separating cars entering the pit lane
from those on the track."

Has to be one of the most impressive comebacks in recent history? Going from fighting for P15 to consistent points scorers in just a few races
November 23, 2024 at 7:28 AM
You'll be back tomorrow

Bishop Brennan also said that, from 2019 to 2021, Mr Gigantiello transferred nearly $2m (£1.5M) in church funds to bank accounts affiliated with a former staff member of New York City Mayor Eric Adams."

Is there anything in that state that doesn't lead back to Eric Adams
November 20, 2024 at 10:34 PM
I've not been able to understand it. It doesn't feel like a game, it's more of a "log in once a day for two minutes to open a pack".

Unless I was missing something?

Hard proof is lacking, Russia isn't that obvious anymore - but she's *consistently* repeated the Kremlin line, from opposing sanctions on Assad to promoting the Ukrainian biolabs conspiracy
November 13, 2024 at 11:50 PM
22nd amendment rather.
November 6, 2024 at 1:45 PM
Worth mentioning that he'd need to repeal the 28th Amendment to run again in 2028. That's where my hope lies - nobody else has his charisma.
November 6, 2024 at 1:37 PM
Govt, as they always do, failed to stop independent media being swallowed up by corporate interests.

Twitter the obvious example, but even places like WaPo.

A Trump victory will empower people like Farage, Orbán, Wilders - we cannot afford another lurch to the right
November 5, 2024 at 10:39 AM
Just had a look at the sporting regs, they only say "wet weather tyres". I'm certain it used to say "full wets" or something like that, so I guess they allowed inters at some point.
November 3, 2024 at 5:14 PM
Waiting for the inevitable "why are the FIA running on such a wet track", ignoring how everyone is running inters
