One side-effect of the MAGA/racism thing is the initial distrust I feel for white people & Latino people that I don't know. My mom was white, father was Latino/Indigenous, so I'm mixed. Always surprised when Latinos reveal they voted for Trump, but pleasantly surprised when white folks are Ds.

Ah, MAGAts...can't live with them, can certainly live w/o them. Blocked a former colleague today on FB after he saw my post referring to the pic below. I said it might be the last year for cheap food picked by migrants, & he immediately blamed Dems for inflation, not corportate greed. Block. Bye.

I was really hoping to retire in the next few years & move back home to the USA, but a 2nd Trump era looming & no obvious intervention by sensible folks, this member of at least 2 minority communities chooses to fight fascism from a distance. Can't fight from inside a concentration camp or coffin.
