My news feed currently has 2 stories, right next to each other, both within the last hour. One says trump sends market soaring, the other says trump sends market plummeting. Sign o’ the times, I guess.

It seems that this current crop of billionaires is simply too stupid to understand that the main thing that kept the system propped up was the illusion that government worked for the people. Now that musk and trump are making it blatantly clear, will we stand up and change things finally?

How did we let this happen? Well, we happen to be a country that respects our fellow countrymen’s right to have a say in who gets elected, no matter how poor of a choice they might make with their votes. Yeah, we believe in democracy, and you better believe we will fight like hell to preserve it.

This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we’re given
Use them and let’s start trying
To make it a place worth living in
