My 6 yo thought our iPad passcode was our phone number and gave it to friend to arrange a play date. And yet it still worked out for him.

The administration continues to push the narrative that non medical people are fully capable of making decisions about our health care. I think if RFK jr is going to remain the HHS secretary, Trump and the rest should have to use RFK jr as their PCP. It’s only fair.

No data to back this up but the majority of people I see on Medicaid haven’t had insurance/medical care in a very long time because their employer didn’t provide it, they have untreated chronic conditions, and then something horrible happens. Now medical appointments are FT job. Costs ⬆️

A typical Medicaid patient I meet working in neurological health care: I didn’t have any health problems until (giant terrible health event) happened.

Checks notes: hadn’t been to the doctor in 25 years because didn’t have health insurance through employer. Had 7 undiagnosed chronic conditions.

Oh so with vaccines pregnant women and their doctors can make medical decisions. But other medical decisions should be left up to the state 🤡
Margaret Brennan totally exposes FDA Commissioner Makary for making it up as he goes and making conflicting recommendations in order to cast doubt on covid vaccines. He's so terrible during this interview that Brennan is left shaking her head as she wraps it up.

You know what’s actually controversial. Cutting cancer and dementia research, cutting medicaid, and tariffs on supplies, drugs and equipment for hospitals.
Heads up: Starting in June, Cleveland Clinic patients who can’t pay their co-pay on the spot will have nonemergency appointments rescheduled or cancelled, the health system said. Read more: https://l.cleveland.com/h14mgh

Good thing most of Florida has dentures
Florida is poised to become the second state to ban the long-standing practice of adding fluoride to public water systems.

Many dentists and oral health experts worry that they’re in a losing battle against the anti-fluoride movement.

Trumps primary care doctor is an emergency medicine doctor. If you’ve been to an emergency room, you know EM docs famously abhor and abstain from providing any sort of primary care for patients, as they should. Primary care is not emergency care.

To everyone saying big pharma can fund the research with the cuts to NIH… the NIH funds some incredible science showing benefits of high intensity exercise slowing the onset and progression of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. It’s not just drugs and vaccines!
