Yeah! That is exactly the idea. Currently I am doing 10 WPM = 1 point of stat increase but I'm still playing around with the feel. This is just one of the minigames. The game loop will be minigames to increase stats, stats then determine your monsters evolution path 😀. Thanks for the question!

I have definitely used an AnimationPlayer to call functions. I would say I tend to default to AnimationPlayer because it is much more powerful of a node.

I use both. Usually it depends on the specific sprite that I am using and how its set up.

Seems like some people have success with discord. Another thing I have seen is finding youtubers who focus on your genre and trying to get them to make a video about your game. Unfortunately getting noticed is one of the hardest parts about indie dev...
