Chose Madden cuz he's British like Cavill and would've absolutely fit the "big old supes, short young Bats" theme of the hypothetical movie. Manganiello would've also worked as the Superman to Affleck's Batman if Snyder wasn't about "We have to make Batman tower over Superman".

I hope someone contacts Alfred Molina about it and inquires him about Doc Ock's fate after Spider-Man: No Way Home. They can just persuade him into saying that Ock wasn't returned to the final battle with Tobey.
