Elon is such a terrible intersection of mentally unhealthy, completely stupid, overconfident, and rich. I used to fall for his schtick, but realized what a scam it all was early on. I can't imagine still thinking he's anything but a hollow moron.

Pursued by the bad guys, 5 Siblings, aged 7-14, must visit 8 worlds attached to earth, to collect talismans to open portal to rescue mom, imprisoned in the 9th. Each world represents earth’s past, from land of dinos, Australopithecus country, to Russian revolution & Hiroshima just before the blast.

Same here. Plus my pub before retiring was all academic. ALL published writing is terrible to its author. This is a given.
My YA target audience is 11-15. But since I’ve planned for a 9 book series, the ages of audience should grow with that of the protagonists.

My first 3 YA (my A is very Y) books have just completed a rigorous review & edit by my writing group - all trad published. I’ll add some of their suggestions & submit to agents.
I’m still trying this route rather than indie. We’ll see.

I don’t post my poetry online because then it’s considered published & ineligible for competitions. Bummer. Same for short stories & publishers. Bummer!

As for me - Elder yes, wise? Not so much. Or only of the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ kind. As I get older I find there’s an INFINITE number of mistakes still to make.

I have a multitude of cats (well, 7.) I was a uni grad-(MBA) Prof in marketing, business startup, & technology strategy. I also consulted. Seems a lifetime ago. Retired in 2014. Now I write.
