Watched some amazing films, got pretty blasted, took a nice morning walk to cool down, got attacked by an aggressive and territorial dog on the way, and was rescued by a kind stranger. Overall, it was a successful Saturday evening.

After seeing Napoleon by Abel Gance a year ago, I finally managed to watch J'accuse. It is rather heavy-handed at times, and the finale message is somewhat puzzling as it did not venture in the direction I expected. However, Gance pushed the boundaries of silent cinema and created a beautiful film.
