Ok, thanks for the info. I had wrongly assumed that as trains had been diesel electric for a long time and a percentage was electric a while back they must have managed fully electric, forgot the tories sold everything that wasn’t nailed down.

I don’t know a lot about trains, why do they need batteries when they have power lines either overhead or on a third rail? Last time i got a train it was about 2007 and that was electric, am I missing something?

I managed to explain white privilege to a couple of truckers last week. I used the mets institutional racism as an example and they got it. It’s not a huge thing but another little step in the right direction. I can’t help with gaza or venezuela, I can keep chipping away at people i meet irl.

I feel that’s simple answer to complex problem. The right wing wet wipes feel safe there, let them talk, let them get their true feelings in black and white, at the moment we know who we are looking at. Ban it, they go underground and keep their beliefs hidden. It’s shit but could be a tool.
