Big agree on the church comparison. In my experiance social shame usually only targeted at those with little power. Most people cant change politics culture etc but though in group out group dynamics its often used to label someone as a scapegoat for quelling anxieties of the in group

Oh yeah the adventure remake was a way cleaner production than the later tri films even if i wasnt crazy for the remake itself. Though nothing is perfect & id rather have a world with some digimon stuff im lukewarm for than no digimon at all. That would digi-suck ass

I feel like peoples biggest problem is how the story got crammed a bit amidst all the stock scenes but hey thats digimon in a nutshell.😅 in 2025 i could only wish that bothered me now a days i got to much shit going on to care how many times we see agumon digivolve vs. justifiying some bs plot twist
