I have a doll, AMA! I love dressing her up and taking photos. Most everyone will find it creepy, but it's comforting and fun for me.
I will say this: the main impediment to having a life-sized doll for casual fun is that they are super heavy. Mine is about 65lbs! There are lighter ones, though.
