Why not just break it up into two movies? Then again people said Wicked for good could have been one movie.

He’s half right. The body makes snot. Dust, dirt, and other particulates get into the nose and combine with snot to make boogers.

Just looked into it a bit more. I guess the problem is that plug ins are often company cars. So no one has an incentive to plug them in. People in the uk specifically don’t usually drive farther than an hour away anyway, so for the uk at least traditional EV and their range should be the best deal.

Panda Express would be really great if they could fix their chow mien. It’s chewy. Orange chicken is OP though.

I’ve heard that Europeans are having problems with plug ins. I don’t know why. No problems here. One of the issues I heard about is that they’re not plugged them in for some reason. Are home chargers an issue there?

We use the hybrid plug in for driving out of town. We almost never use gas. Twice since we got it a couple years ago. But it’s good to have the security.

It depends a lot on the area and if the chargers on the map are actually working or not. I’ve had close calls where I barely mad it to a charger. Or I had to wait over an hour just to start charging because only one out of a whole line of chargers was working.

I had to beg someone nearby to use their private charger. A hotel I wasn’t booked with. Luckily they took pity. Now we have an EV and a plug in hybrid we use for out of town. We almost never use gas, but it’s good to have that security.

Different people have different experiences, I guess. There have been times where I’ve driven to the beach a few hours away, and there would be a whole row of chargers broken except one. Long line. Waited an hour. Thought there’s one at my destination. I can barely make it. That one wasn’t available

A big problem is that often times there’s problems with charger availability. Broken, vandalized, long lines, or even none in an area.

Plug-in hybrids solve this problem though. And Chinese 5 minute quick chargers would help a lot.

It looks a little under done for my taste. I like the medium rare to medium range. Beautiful sear though.

I don’t know what the fk you’re talking about, and I really don’t care. He’s an astrophysicist. You should only be listening to him about astrophysics. And even then, no one scientist is infallible which is why we have peer review, repeatedly, and scientific consensus.
January 5, 2026 at 5:18 PM
There’s a big difference between that and outright pseudoscientists that hawk colloidal silver, etc. One is trying to relay broad concepts at the expense of more technical details; the other is trying to fool you to sell something.
December 30, 2025 at 3:11 PM
I trust him as a science communicator more than a scientist. I trust him more when he’s talking about what he has actual expertise in.The job of a science communicator is to relay information broadly in a way that laypeople can easily understand.Ex:We teach children that the planets line up in a row

And some people would call those things settled science. It’s not a dumb thing to say so long as you understand that no science is *completely* settled. It’s a matter of degrees. When scientists are certain enough that it’s labeled a theory, most of the time, it passes the threshold into settled sci
December 29, 2025 at 7:45 AM
I’m sorry. Maybe you’re right. I don’t know. Can you give an example of something that is settled science? Some might say there is no such thing as settled science. But some things have a higher level of scientific certitude. When people say the science is settled, they mean most scientists agree.
December 29, 2025 at 7:21 AM
But yes, the main point we’re both trying to make is that no matter the medium, you should understand what makes someone reliable. Scientists that follow the scientific method and as well as other best practices for or information systems like having their information be peer reviewed etc.

They are science communicators. Which is different than scientists. Although all those people have degrees and backgrounds in science. NDT is actively involved in his field. Hank Green’s Crash Course is reliable enough to be used by teachers.
December 29, 2025 at 3:01 AM
A theory in scientific jargon is settled science. Laymen use the word theory when what they actually mean is hypothesis. Hypotheses are not the same as theories in science speak.
December 29, 2025 at 2:12 AM
There are also “scientists” on TikTok that are just like the ones that got into Trump’s admission. Maybe just trust scientists and reputable science communicators like Hank Green, Bill Nye, Neil DeGrase Tyson, etc. instead of people spewing pseudoscience.
