✂️I've written to Blair McDougall demanding to know if he'll back his constituents or back Labour’s brutal £5bn welfare cuts.

Will he stand up for the people of East Renfrewshire—or just fall in line behind Keir Starmer and make life even harder for those already struggling?

Busy day! Met with Fiona Herriot from Co-op to discuss community projects, attended a briefing on fire safety at Battery Energy Storage Sites (important with the Eaglesham appeal), and grabbed lunch at Roma in Clarkston. Always great to be out in the community!

I’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of supportive comments and messages from folk since announcing my intention to stand for Eastwood.
