We will continue to advocate for all law enforcement officers, especially those in the Department of Corrections, to receive the same protection.

This legislation ensures critical support for their loved ones and affirms that their service will never be forgotten. Council 4 helped pass the law to provide $100,000 in immediate relief to the families of police officers killed in the line of duty.
