Found a way to fix the distant horizons rendering grass slabs as brown cubes issue. You need to use the texture pack for it though.

Terrain Slabs patch notes v2.0.0
Add:
- Resource pack for better soil-block textures (optional, see image)
- Option to disable vegetation on slabs
Fix:
- Incorrect slab type placement (e.g. dirt on sand)
- Deepslate slab drop
Improve:
- Ceiling slab generation
- Performance 2x

Managed to get hit registration working correctly.
- I managed to define individual body parts as "Weak Spots" where the player can crit.
- This also allows me to make a separate mod that gives entities model accurate hitboxes. Let me know if you are interested!

Working on the first Settlement Roads update!
Currently implementing a new road generation for sand.

Also working on bridges & tunnels but that might still take a while...

Also just generation improvements in general

Probably also features like waypoints/ lanterns/ fences?

Terrain Slabs and Settlement Roads also work together very well! If you use them both you have a much easier time following the roads!

Update on Road Generation/ Countered's Settlement Roads:

Progress going well! Probably first release this week.

Features and Plans:
- Currently only generates straight dirt path roads
- Every village has at least 1 road

Future:
- Bridges
- Different qualities
- Curves

If you want to check out my Minecraft Mods, this one generates slabs everywhere in a chunk to smooth out the terrain! (Even underground and on ceilings)
