Yes, because this person represents every single survivors to exist. Different survivors are going to have different thoughts and opinions on the matter and only listening to the side you agree with and acting like everyone on the other side are sensitive snowflakes or trolls or whatever is obtuse.

Responding to immaturity with more immaturity doesn't really get anyone anywhere. It adds more fuel to the fire for the people who are just out to get her and doesn't help the people who expressed genuine concern for a scene being in poor taste. Esp when that opinion is voiced by other SA survivors.

Viv denying the inherently rape-y nature of her jokes in the content she produces just rubs me the wrong way. Like idk it feels irresponsible to, esp as a huge creator, respond to serious discussions on whether or not a scene you wrote depicts sexual assault like this.

A character is touched non-consensually and the joke is his and others reactions to the act. Thats a rape joke. Thats just an objective fact, regardless of your opinon of said joke. 🤷‍♀️
