Every close game they found ways to win early on they are now finding ways to lose. Can't overcome the mistakes on the base paths, in the field and the poor performance at the plate.

I'm wondering if Shanahan and Lynch are in lock step with ownership on this one...or if this directive was forced on them...not sure how competitive this roster will be this season with so many new and inexperienced players.

How many all pro/pro bowl OL/DL has this current front office drafted? I think this says a lot about the current state of the roster.

A bunch of backups and guys you draft that you hope make the team...this is how front offices lose the vets in the locker room...by not doing everything possible to win.

Missing and/or choosing not to go after needs...like Dalman...says a lot about how the Niners are approaching this off season...looks much more like a cash/salary decrease than anything else...
