I didn't say you said it wasn't a pen, I said it was as clear a pen as you will see, not soft at all. Most pens have much less contact than a full winging kick 🤣

Ah stop he took a full swing at the ball and kicked him quite hard. Unfortunately players feel you have to down holding your leg to make sure VAR look at it. But it was as clear a penalty as you will see

Apart from maybe the State owned clubs, all the others are businesses that will increase prices as high as they can get away with surely?

I think if we hadn't signed anyone but kept Diaz, Nunez, Tsimikas and Quansah we'd be much closer to Arsenal than we are now. The signings have been an expensive disaster so far but obviously I'm hopeful it will work out in the long term

I just don't see a front 3 from Salah, Isak, Ekitike and Gakpo ever really working that well. Or maybe I am so used to seeing Liverpool with great pressing forwards that could possibly win the ball back for you that I can't imagine anything else working

Yeah I agree with that, too many similar type of forwards now and none of them great pressers like were there previously.

I don't know if ducking away from a ball should be treating differently to moving slightly away from a ball but we are used to City getting decisions by now.

I'm not even sure it's clear that's why they bought them. Jota, Nunez and Diaz were replaced by Wirtz, Ekitike and Isak for varying reasons and one of them was the long term succession planning for Salah I suppose.

I was hoping to see Wirtz as a false nine and Gakpo in for Ekitike. The midfield was well beaten in the end, Curtis Jones is our final hope

They would have been much better off keeping Diaz and Nunez and replacing Jota with Isak.
