It is time for a round up, Eve’s June reading round up!
Books read: 8
Average rating: 3.5
And we've gone below 4 stars once more. I read a lot of books in June, but many of them disappointed me. Even ones I thought I'd love turned out to be just average!

Omg! It's my reading wrap up for may, look at all the awesome books I read!
It's May wrap up time!
Books read - 6
Average Rating- 4
This May I finally shattered the 4-star ceiling, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The books I read were top-tier, with some epic fantasy, and a dash of sci-fi dystopia!

Celebrating trans and non-binary people can't just be concentrated to the #TransDayOfVisibility, but it's a good reminder of all that the community brings to society 🏳️‍⚧️

And every day, we must stand side by side in the constant fight against transphobia & bigotry.

Meta stole my books to train AI. they used my words, my work, my years of effort — without consent, without credit, without care.

but they will NEVER be able to write an Aiden Thomas book. they don’t have my heart, my soul, or my humor.

you can train on my words, but you’ll never steal my voice.

The way my heart fell when I learned that all three of my books were pirated and used to train Meta’s AI. I did not give my permission for any of this.

It wilds me that the writer of this show's takeaway is "Ban smartphones for kids". Not address the fact third spaces for young people are disappearing due to funding cuts, that caregivers are under increasing pressure, that schools are underesourced while politicians say SRE is "woke". Smartphones.
and the Guardian article too www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

I'm just not sure a "ban" on cellphones at governmental level will do anything. There is a "ban" on tobacco products for under 16 and yet 9yo are the fastest growing demographic for vapes
