I meant to draw these characters way more this year, but then my brain continued to act like itself.

Better late than never though. I was going through all my #BeautyAndTheBeast stuff and came across that old Don Bluth poster and figured it'd be perfect for these guys.

My unnecessary backstory for this is that the mermaid was trapped in a net and The Creature just came across them while wandering. I did think about alluding to fisherman that were trying to capture the mermaid leaving behind some blood, but I didn't end up doing it.

I don't really vibe with the Zeus being Aphrodite's father thing, but a bunch of ideas happened in my brain and I thought about the #BrideOfFrankenstein just being made to be a wife and the version of myth were #Aphrodite gets engaged shortly after being born and this happened.

It's me as an alien, because that's what I felt like for a while.

An OC that's a version of myself in ancient Egyptian inspired clothing, hair, and jewelry sitting up against a pillar, kissing one of my OCs' a Beast man wearing an outfit and arm bracelets also inspired by ancient Egyptian fashion. Apparently NB day was yesterday and I've pretty much taken the stance that if a label gets in the way of my reality I'm fine dropping it. I don't mind being perceived as a woman or using she/her pronouns, but I feel like I'm beyond that. IDK if that qualifies me to use the label NB, but I do so...

Ok, I decided to use that random burst of motivation. I'm sure this design will evolve, but I kinda like it for now. The whole Beelze-Grub idea is in part because of Bigtop Burger.
