It’s the media’s fault

Specifically when Grange Hill started in ‘78 and brought the true horror of existence into people’s front room

It’s definitely fair

The only reason Ramsdale will get a chance is a pope injury, despite the fact that we’re trying to play out from the back and Pope can’t do it.

He won’t make tough decisions.

Going beyond nick? I was saying ramsay for that role if it was to happen.

Might not have been clear.
November 9, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Joelinton absolutely shouldn’t be starting on current form.

Eddie will continue to do exactly the same as he has been.
November 9, 2025 at 9:58 PM
At the moment I’d choose miley but it depends on whether Howe is ever going to switch the system up.

I’d like to see Bruno and Tonali sit deep as a 2 and the third CM play centrally ahead of them. In that system it’s Ramsay. Hopefully gets beyond nick.

To be fair to him, it’s difficult to come in to a new club / team that is nowhere near functioning, and under management that seems out of ideas. But, he also doesn’t want to be here and it shows. Was forced to leave Villa for PSR and isn’t over it yet.

Oh dear…

Please make sure we do t change anything AGAIN next time! Sure it will be different.
November 9, 2025 at 5:56 PM
That’s definitely part of it but the managers refusal to adapt, change anything or make any big decision is currently the biggest problem.

I’d be amazed if the new CEO wasn’t having a look at potential replacements and Howe can have zero complaints if the pull the trigger.
November 9, 2025 at 5:23 PM
You’re being very generous.

The full backs are a challenge but I think better managers adapt to that rather than keeping everything the same but with different players. Also does not answer any of the other questions.
November 9, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Mate, I knew they’d lose when they were winning.

I look forward to them playing the exact same team, system and style next time.
November 9, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Would Thiaw be playing if it wasn’t forced by injury? Same with Botman? Probably not. Why is J7 still playing? Why is a team that plays out from the back still playing Pope over Ramsdale? Why has the system not changed?

Sorry, but he does not make big decision unless forced.
November 9, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Mate, he isn’t. He has the potential to be but until he starts making big decisions that could upset someone, he isn’t
November 9, 2025 at 4:20 PM
The question for Howe is what was the outcome is said reflection, as he appeared to change nothing yet again and unsurprisingly he got the same result.

He reluctance to make big decisions will cost him his job and probably soon.
November 9, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Howe has to be under pressure at this point. It’s not just the results it’s the refusal to try and address the issues.

Too soft. Won’t make a big decision in case it upsets someone.
November 9, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Who could possibly have predicted that doing the exact same thing with the exact same players would have the exact same result.
November 9, 2025 at 4:04 PM
He’s not hard headed, he’s soft.

Would rather keep everyone onside than make a tough decision.

He must be at risk and he goes he can have zero complaints.
November 9, 2025 at 4:03 PM
No
November 9, 2025 at 12:13 PM
I doubt we’ll get a point
November 7, 2025 at 10:32 PM
A 13 second video without VVD elbowing someone in the face / head… amazing stuff
November 5, 2025 at 9:57 AM
Do they? This is a surprise to me as we’ve struggled to create chances in most games.

Where did you get that from?
November 3, 2025 at 9:31 AM
Can’t say I’m as optimistic but obviously I hope you’re right 🤞
November 3, 2025 at 9:02 AM
We will probably beat Bilbao but Brentford will smash us again. No doubt.
November 3, 2025 at 8:16 AM
I’m think this is completely reasonable. We look absolutely awful in the league home and away and Eddie seems reluctant to freshen things up.
November 3, 2025 at 8:14 AM
The fact that he made that many changes and Joelinton still lasted 90 minutes is incredible.
November 2, 2025 at 9:08 PM
It’s a bit naive to think he’s automatically getting the season. If we’re no better by Christmas I think he’s in trouble. Not saying it’s right but it’s modern football.
