The @appgsrh.bsky.social have urged the NPCC to withdraw new police guidance on pregnancy loss, which they say risks fuelling criminalisation around reproductive health.
The letter was supported by 45+ MPs & Peers and was sent ahead of the vote to decriminalise abortion.

We were at Westminster yesterday with @bpas.bsky.social, @cosmopolitan.co.uk, @fsrh.org & RCOG to speak to MPs about amendment NC1, which would stop the criminalisation of women ending their own pregnancies.

It’s due to be voted on today 💪 We’ll bring you the result as soon as we have it.

A proposed amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill would require an in-person consultation prior to accessing an at-home abortion, pushing care out of reach for too many.

We urge MPs to reject it and protect access to safe abortion care.
