Id definitely recommend watching this (12 episodes) & if you like it, read the book!
If you can afford it/rent it, listen to the audiobook while reading so you get the art & Alan Cummings narration with various accents!

Final thoughts:
I never thought this series would ever get any adaptation, and I'm pretty happy with this one regardless of the changes.
I think this was successful partially because it was faithful to the books to a degree, but also made changes that allows it to be just as enjoyable by itself!
