Alright, here's my first attempt, with the 3x3x3 boxes.
I ended up spray painting these brown, masking them, and then spraying a topcoat followed by a light mist of a lighter color.
I just wish I'd gone with a lighter shade base coat of brown, but I still have 47 more boxes.
