Sadly we can't trust people any more to just be decent. We've tried carrots for decades. Apparently we need to go back to the stick. I remember when police blotters in the papers showed faces of everyone arrested the previous day.

I agree that there are stupid road decisions- Excessive 1 way streets and excessive Stop signs (which encourage speeders to make up for lost time). But personal responsibility is also big. That asshole driver chose to be an asshole driver.

People haven't been clamoring for a webplayer . People wanted SIDs to run agnostically on a real C64. Meaning, it sounds fine no matter whether you're in PAL countries or NTSC countries. And they wanted them to be "self running", like they used to back in the mid-80's. Meaning, LOAD "file",8,1 & SYS

I saw your NTSC Player post last month. If you can create a util to play PAL-reliant songs in NTSC, then you already have proof of concept. You are already replacing the VBI interrupt with a CIA interrupt, no?

Start prosecuting speeders & redlight runners. Ease speeding impulses by removing excessive stop signs (people feel a need to make up time due to all the excessive stop signs). Eliminate NIMBY 1-way streets like Breadalbane St (restore to 2-way).

It's good that 99% have players built in. I can't imagine not. I don't understand this "set up the full environment". The C64 _is_ the environment. I would think/hope all that needs doing is change the Init to point to the CIA-driven code, which your util would append to the real SID.

I don't think anyone expects every SID to be automatically corrected by a singular tool. We always thought some trial and error might be needed, tweaking the CIA interrupt rate, which CIA, which Timer to use.

We were told that video showed Epstein's prison cell door. But that was untrue. I had always wondered if maybe Trump had him offed. But no evidence. Lying about the video makes it clear something odd is going on.
