Cursing myself for making links with texts I'm currently teaching, even when those links are rather tenuous. This, from Animal Farm (lesson for Starmer: don't take your eye off the ball...) 🙂

Jeremy Hunt, regular guest on GB News, is in no way protecting the BBC (for the record). This, from his weekly constituency newsletter 👇

So Gibb and Johnson, with the energy of rightwing America behind them, ultimately triumph, where critics of BBC's e.g. reliance on IEA mouthpieces, hiding away from Zahawi's tax affairs & Kuenssberg/ Johnson love-in barely register a pitiful ripple 🤷‍♂️

- Popping up in Guardian to patronise friends you haven't called for ages is just annoying
- Implying rest of us are the problem is a bit desperate

All parties are not the same although some seem to be very similar to each other. Really struggling to understand what sort of operation we've voted in to run this country.

Someone's going to have to start defining what being 'British' specifically constitutes because, as it stands, many of us are likely on a slippery slope towards the gulags...
