A ref sheet meant for our wonderful second main character to the comic, Six-Eared-Macaque! Mostly to show off his colors and the scar on the right side of his face. Yin and Jin's designs in the show were okay, but I wanted to give them more personality, hence the changes! Mostly to their outfits and adding some markings for *pizzazz~* Miss ma'am..... Auntie.... I love her..... crushing on my own OC? More likely than you think. It's difficult to see all nine of her tails, but she does have them all.

I adore them so much.... they're just so full of sass. The charisma of a dead rat. Wonderful.
Fun fact: Zhixiu's general design and snake form is based off of the Yellow-Lipped Sea Krait!

Not me slowly losing my mind in an attempt to get a general idea for designs for the website and also playing around with motif brushes I found

I am.... dying.... attempting to figure out how I want this web page to look...... lanterns at the top, smokey smoke at the bottom.... what goes in between? I HAVE NO IDEA Various motif brushes I found that I wanted to play with and figure out which one I would like more

The token lantern Macaque's always seen with, while he's chained to Zhixiu (pronounced jee-show). Symbolism? More likely than you think. The first page of the comic! We got establishing shots! We got a theater! And we! Got! MONKEYS!!!! Cleaned lines for the first page! Drawing the theater was so much fun... now I get to do interior designs......... Close up of Flower Fruit!

OC's name is Zhixiu (pronounced jee-show) and doesn't care what pronouns you use, but usually goes by they/them to avoid confusion.
I love them.... so much.....
Macaque not wanting Wukong to sit with him and Zhixiu, but Zhixiu doesn't care. Macaque obviously does. Macaque questioning Zhixiu's interest in the drama of other people's lives, meanwhile Zhixiu provides a simple answer: It's fascinating and amusing. Macaque and Zhixiu flirting, with each other, while Zhixiu is too dumb to realize they're flirting.
