It’s really tough. When my mom died in 2007 just after Christmas I thought, “Now I’m an orphan.” I was an adult, of course, but it was still disorienting.
And this is my first T-day as a widow. Very unreal feeling.

It hasn’t even been 3 months since Labor Day. My guess would be vascular dementia, perhaps caused or exacerbated by multiple mini-strokes.
