my hs offered some trade classes as alternatives but i didn't do that. i just wanted to do art too so i didn't even consider them then :( financial management classes for seniors would be so so useful!! but yeah que sera sera.....i'm gonna go live in the woods with the bugs and raccoons

so you've got all these loans to pay for schooling that was promised to get you a job in your field. and then it doesn't. and then you're just screwed unless you get lucky. COLLEGE *SHOULD* BE FREE!!! oh man when i'm prez those student loans gonna hate to see me comin

- seen as "lower" and unsuccessful. so they freaked us out into panic-picking a path for the rest of our lives at like 16-17. that's nuts!! we were kids!! and then when you graduate there's no jobs anyway

i feel like so many folks our age got tricked into going to college just to go :( idk how it was at your hs but i heard "go to college for SOMETHING or the only job you'll get is [job society considers shitty]!" so so much. and that scares teens about to go out into the world because those jobs are-

anyway i'm not interested in being in debt for the rest of my life. i'm just trying to fucken survive over here i don't have the money for gd higher education like that. i'm just going to learn mechanics and fix cars. everyone will always need cars fixed and i'll never have to pay for my own repairs

like if my life hadn't blown tf up i would have been a brain surgeon. some kind of human surgeon. maybe i would have learned more about genetics. or maybe i would have gotten into nuclear science. or i'd be a mortician. but i was just going to kms after high school soooooooo lol

when i was real young i wanted to be a vet but then realized i liked animals too much to not be able to save all of them. then i went through a bunch of other bullshit dreams (i wanted to race motorcycles at one point???)
