Starting another trip around the sun come Wednesday and this might be the first year I feel nothing about it. Up keeping my tradition of not working on my b-day though. It just might be a day of quiet reflection mixed with music I like for later in the day. Who knows at this point?

Also, such a huge thank you to the River City Hotel staff for making our experience there such a good one. I can't wait to return. Also incredibly thankful that the venue is set up inside the lobby and we don't have to wait outside in all kinds of weather to be let in for shows. Beautiful place.

Back from St. Louis for my 2 day trip. Got a feel for the city and this beautiful resort and hoping to return in April *fingers crossed* no more band cancellations/postponements please.

Why is it damn near impossible to form connections with like minded people who like the same...anything? (preferably within music), I always feel like I'm on the outside looking in when it comes to something I love, but no real way to connect and build a community around it. It's heartbreaking.
