Got me a Quilt Moth from @passionpeachy.bsky.social and it is wonderful!

If you see this, post a tower or structure.

Recently found @starsalts.bsky.social on here and remembered I got a Nope pin from her! Amazing movie, and an amazing little piece of art to celebrate it!

And finally a few fossils I think folks should see! Some corals, chunk of crinoids pressed together, and a couple of beautifully preserved shells.

Fo folks wanna see more of my rocks?
July 13, 2025 at 10:32 PM
My agate slices. I believe these were originally coral?

My ‘common’ rocks. Stuff I picked up across the middle of the US. Mostly petrified wood, with a few mysterious things I never bothered to identify.

I'd really like these two!

Who even remembers the Beatles? What did they ever do at all? It's all about the Beetles these days. Just look at the @wizentrop.bsky.social posts!

Obscure British bands < Cute Bugs

Or is it 'Obscure British bands <3 Cute Bugs' ? Either way, beetles better.

I think I might be doomed.

The Tariy evolved from tunneling herbivores who ventured to the surface, and they're horrible. A couple of centuries back, Amphisbenes taught them to be better neighbors, but they're still xenophobic weirdos with brain parasites and too much advanced tech.

One of my Amphisbene aliens. They just discovered gardening and hats, thanks to their friends from Earth.

Some of the plants are ordinary earthly flora, like cacti and lithops. Others are predatory xenoflora from the Amphisbene home world.

Drawn by @cadmiumtea.bsky.social for me.

I was #1,116,333! Very cool!

@cadmiumtea.bsky.social made me another Amphisbene drawing! Some worldbuilding info in the ALT text!

I think they might be big fans, though. Nothing says you're a fan of Star Trek like having a uniform ready for an obscure character cosplay.

What is your professional opinion of these two cats?
April 11, 2024 at 11:33 PM
If you see this, post a monster? Okay, but Amphisbenes are technically not monsters. They're aliens the excellent artist @cadmiumtea.bsky.social helped illustrate for me in this reference sheet!

The pins from @bemusedbehemoth.bsky.social have arrived safely. Incredibly, shiny, glittering pins!
There are even stickers and postcards! And, the way these have been packed is gorgeous. I almost didn't wanna open those envelopes.

That's just a normal Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

Last one from New York. I love walking around in the forest, even though my sense of direction is nonexistent on a good day.

Another New York hikes mushroom. Just one little guy hanging out on a tree trunk.

Back when I went hiking in Northern New York, I saw very fine fungi, and decided to take some pictures. Now, I bring them to you.

@cadmiumtea.bsky.social created a wonderful representation of me! As you can see, I am a normal capybara, and definitely not any sort of monster.
