Loved college but don’t believe that it teaches “thinking.” It’s pretty hard to get into if you have not developed critical thinking skills, & doubtful one would do well in college if one didn’t already have them. I majored in English & French & made my career as a programmer/systems analyst.

Technically a Boomer but born in 1960 so, not a lot in common with folks born in the 40s. I am sad that I paid for 2 doctorates plus “clinicals” so my kids could live far away from me. Proud of them? Yes, but lonely too. Daughter visited recently & asked “Why are you using the sink in my bathroom?”
