(1) Everyday I see my birth country crumbling around me. On the local level our sidewalks succumb to the earth, our roads fill with cracks and pits. The local government refuses to do anything while my town stagnates. Our state refuses to fix its failing electrical grid. Feds aren't helping either.

Doctors now seem to be denying her, her HRT
Alongside this, she has also been recieving transphobic abuse from prison staff and prisoners.
Absolutely horrific news. And we are disgusted that they are being treated in this way.

just finished this book at work.
i really enjoyed it, and it really changed the way i view US history by showing how aspects of imperialism are sanitized from historical discussion and how said imperialism still impacts not just american colonial subjects, but us mainlanders as well. 9/10
