The condescension in your replies is the same kind of condescension that needs to be excised from the Dem party if it's to have any relevance in the near future. If Dems think their moderate wins are anything but "better than the other guy" they are deluding themselves.

We need to push the new gov's office. The current gov gutted, steamrolled, and laid down for Trump and MAGA and has done lot of damage. We need bold, visible moves so Virginian's feel their life getting better. Undo every culture war Youngkin policy quickly and visibly. Not sure Span's up for it.

Yeah, in my part of VA, no one voted FOR her, but against Earl-Sears. I think it was Spanberger's race to lose.

1. b/c Mamdani lead that election with a clear vision and enthusiasm from voters, something Dems desperately need but seem too spineless to embrace.
2. If Earl-Sears had been a white man, Spanberger would have been cooked. The right’s bigotry saved us in VA. Dems still haven’t learned anything.

Majority did not want Earl-Sears, that’s all. If your conclusion is the VA Dem’s takeaway progressives/liberals in Virginia are in trouble in the years to come.

They advised to side-step the issue and to move to the center (the losing strategy for Dems for years). Instead of, you know, clearly defending human rights and leading with and owning liberal policies, which is what the majority of people want. It was Spanberger’s to lose. Hopefully they know that.
