finally read and finished this! this was a sweet, emotional, and heartwarming read. abby can do no wrong in my eyes. were there too many rhysand references? yes. did i have to suspend disbelief a couple times? also yes. but i think i was in the mood for an unrealistically perfect love connection
the real reason i went to the bookstore was for this book because the cover is so pretty! i usually listen to audiobooks for contemporary romance because they’re easy to follow along with, but i wanted this one on my bookshelf

what is sweetness to you? i’m curious about the different ways people interpret the word and what comes to mind. i believe language can be subjective and words can take on different meanings based on a person’s experiences, and i think there’s something beautiful in that fluidity

it’s an introvert recharge weekend for me because i’ve been very Perceived this past week and placed in situations where i had to be more vulnerable than i’m used to. it hasn’t been bad, just a lot and i need to be quiet for a bit lol. i hope y’all have a nice weekend & recharge if you need it too 🤍

i think stepping outside your comfort zone can be useful, but it can also be unnecessary and even harmful if the only reason you’re doing it is because you feel like you should. i don’t know, people are always talking about the importance of challenging yourself-

update: i did the most annoying thing a reader could do and skimmed for the romance/steamy parts (the miscommunication was killing me a little) and now i have a vague idea of how the story ends and am struggling to pick it back up and finish 🙃

i recently started watching the leftovers and i understand there’s a lot of dark/heavy subjects explored but i have to admit one of my takeaways after watching the first episode is i love carrie coon and that hair color/style looks amazing on her
