It haunted me as a kid. I've watched it again a few years ago and even though at its release it received pretty low ratings, I do think the concept is pretty unique and it is worth a watch if you are able to get your hands on it. Though the Uncanny Valley will be traveled extensively the whole time.

My first year of driving I locked my keys in the car like 4 or 5 times. Now I hook them onto my pants with a chain. Have not done it again since.

Seems like a whole lot of yikes. in the years I've known you, I can confirm your efforts of growth as I've experienced them first hand. It is a shame that it is always the warped past versions of ourselves that become the current truth in the minds of those that have lost you.
