In 1970, at age 52, George 'Pat' Patterson put forth a magickal call. Jilaine Callison and Linda Sue Guinn Sanner answered it and, together with Pat, they founded the Georgian tradition. Pat died on 6 Nov 1984 from cancer. His legacy endures through the Georgian Wicca tradition.

Aleister Crowley's ideas and approach to ceremonial magick profoundly shaped the Western Mystery Tradition and my spirituality. But we shouldn't ignore his privilege, cruelty, and the harm he caused. That's part of his legacy, too, and how we reckon with both is part of ours.
