The three spirits of "A Heavy Metal Christmas Carol"
Drove over to Farmersville to explore the Chaparral Trail. It gives way to packed rock. I turned around after five miles. There were few people on the trail, but those there wished me a merry Christmas. I think I saw a roadrunner's tail disappearing into some overgrowth. Lots of squirrels.

Driving around getting new pictures of old memories to sketch. The old Liberty Bell replica in front of Grand Prairie City Hall still exists, but the Calvary Baptist Church has moved down to south Grand Prairie.

Nifty sculpture in the middle of the street. I pass by it on some of the workout rides but finally took the time read the plaque. I won't be able to verify if this works as advertised today, though. #sculpture #cyclingphotos #equinox

Twenty-one miles today and a total of sixty one miles for this week. Fewer moments of stopping to gulp air so I seem to be getting back into riding shape. I need to get another bag for the camera or store the camera in a small bag when I have it in the backpack. The UV filter cracked.

I was going to take the Denton A-Train to Denton and ride the bike back but I decided to stop off at the Highland Village stop instead. Maybe next week do it the other way around and ride up to Denton and just take the train back?
