This became the ramblings of a mad man, but to circle back to the original point..

I feel like breaking up the monotony of my main cast's fighting abilities with a mage or two would only make sense!

But for a story where each character represents each one of the seven deadly sins, you kinda have to have all seven of them.

This is by no means me complaining about it, but merely commenting on something that I've actively had to give thought to during the concept process.

Sometimes you can get away with combining character concepts to condense your cast.

I really like that method because it feels less like I'm sacrificing something that could have potential, and instead am just building on what I already have.

Typically I like to avoid huge casts of characters, but it's unavoidable for this story. One of the reasons for avoiding them is making sure that each of those characters feel important / impactful and are unique.

Something I'd been back & forth on for the setting was the inclusion of magic.

At 1st all the characters had magic, then I removed magic entirely, then I added divine magic & now I'm debating adding magic back but only for a few characters to make it feel more special.

Anyways, I only brought them up because they've both been eating away at my brain the last few days..

I wanna work on them so bad, but my life has been so hectic lately that I haven't gotten to do any writing.

But I'm excited about them none the less.

The 2nd series will be referred to as "CO".

It's a modern BL that I haven't decided whether it'll be Slice of Life or Drama, but will be in a setting that revolves around Music.

I was going to have the characters be Idols, but now I'm considering making them a band instead.

The 1 that's furthest along is a Fantasy story with Action & Romance subplots.

If you catch me referring to "BoaBH", that is the series I'm talking about.

I'm working on the character concept art for it rn.

I feel like my curiosity is too strong to drop things, especially that soon.

I think 5 chapters is pretty reasonable tbh.
I have a bad habit of pushing forward even if I'm disinterested because I'm holding out for a twist or hook..
idk if I have it in me to commit to 300+ chapters tho unless I'm invested LOL
