Woah, I'm almost certain I stood in front of the two Japanese ladies on the train this evening after work! They were seated in front of me.

Hell yessss. Cocoichi is so bad and expensive as hell. Still don't understand why people fly all the way to Japan to eat there. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I love natto and blue cheese! I need to try this ASAP!

I think there's also something called My Suica card, which never expires.

My Suica Card - Your Secure Travel Card by Rail in Japan
Heard about the "My Suica card"? A secure alternative to the standard Suica card with the same tap-and-go train access in Japan.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Suica cards are back. The Welcome Suica cards are the red ones for 28 days. But I'm positive you can get the normal one too. You should be all good homie.

It's still 3 years out. I'd like to know more details or if they'll go forward with the other idea of using your phone or bank card's IC chip directly connected to your bank account instead. If they combine both features that would be cool.

I heard it's a possible sign of dementia posturing. But another likely reason is he puts 2 inch heel lifts in his shoes and it forces him to lean forward. His obesity is even more visible with the leaning forward too. Guy is so insecure about his height. 🤡

Happy birthday! Welcome to the 40's club. The afternoon tea looked great!

Be safe my friend. Shit is fucked right now in the US. If you can, move to Japan. If you figure out the paperwork and details, it's possible. America is lost.

Interesting. I was also in the area at the same time and remember all the Capitol Police barricades and strict protocols back then. My ex did an internship with The Hill newspaper and a lot of my peers at the Corcoran ended up working there or for WH Press. Being in DC now must be so... weird!

Yeah, like right after I snapped this pic some parents shoved their little boy in front of them to take a pic and the kid was literally crying. hahaha

Oh hell yeah, that's gonna be totally worth it man, for the comfort and guaranteed seating. If you ever ride a JR train and see they have a Green Car, it's a good option.

It should be a crime when companies advertise one salary and then say something totally worse during the interview. Huge red flag.
And I feel your pain about trying to break away from ESL work. I'm also stuck in it. We'll get out of it soon enough!
Good luck!!

Thanks! My FB account was hacked and closed a year ago and FB support was literally impossible to get a hold of to ask for help. Their help page just kept suggesting to log in, but can't do that if you're hacked. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Threads was OK until Zuckerberg fucked it all up recently. No regrets leaving there.
