The strength of a relationship with China is that they are purely transactional. The weakness is human rights. How far you compromise in one to get the other is open. They are bizarrely more easy to read right now, if it works for them they stick with it. The States are not a reliable partner now.

Everyone has an off day here and there, nothing to worry about, just take from it what you can and remember to do the opposite the next time!

I often think of something Prince said, that he never listened to the work of others so he would never be influenced. I thought how sad that was, to hear his riff on other's work would have been spectacular. I could never stop looking at the art and listening to others, what point is there to that?

I have a horrible feeling that they are in some large state of denial, that they don't understand this is happening and don't know what to do about it. The loss of the election has shattered them and they are not ready to stand against the removal of democracy and accountability.

I've been a manager at various levels for over 20 years and am not a parent. Sometimes I wish I learned a level of patience that parents exhibit though, but I am not sure I would go with "extremely" on this, more like "challenging"!

This "idea theft" thing is people looking for reasons to condemn him rather than dealing with the issue at hand. We don't need to go through his work and find creative slights or whatever, we need to condemn his behaviour towards women. Not hard.

I don't understand the lack of comprehension behind saying that you find what the Israeli government is doing to be abhorrent and a crime against humanity without understanding that religion plays absolutely no part in making that statement. The same can be said for the terror attacks of Hamas.
