I do computer things. Occasionally it works.
It's almost like there's a reason for these pinned messages in the PowerShell discord...

Not gonna lie, when I search for Lyft and see it is the only app that includes ads, I'm getting one of the other apps. Why would I be paying you money for a service and also being forced ads?

If you're going to have a modified pro police pride flag, at least make it this one I saw on Facebook for a page I almost blocked...

Anyone who insists on calling it a skeet is a skeet: "is used as a stereotype to describe someone who is ignorant, aggressive, and unruly"

Anyone know what this is from in an empty editor tab in @vscode.dev? Is this @github.com copilot that I've had disabled for ages? I tried ctrl+i but it didn't do anything (I suspect because of vim bindings...)

I had not... I tried to plan to attend, hut Google doesn't seem to have directions for me to get from here to there 😔

This was on Facebook. Doesn't quite sum it up, but it does cover some of it.

Had a great #pshsummit! Met lots of great people, caught up with old friends. Solved janestreet's puzzle card deck with a little help from my friend (or hinderence 🙃)

Ran into @jsnover.com at #pshsummit! Unfortunately I left my @markrussinovich.bsky.social books at home so I couldn't get him to sign them 😔

I saw this on Facebook with the caption "Cursed right triangles" (or something to that effect). I got a chuckle out of it and immediately thought of @standupmaths.bsky.social.

It then got me thinking, is there a right triangle such that a, b, c are whole numbers, and a=b?

So Fitbit/Google says "You must move your Fitbit account to a Google account"... But also: "oh, you pay for your Google account? Yeah, no you can't do that..." Because what I always wanted when I got my own domain for these things was to create yet another account...

Does anyone know: When using Ctrl+P to navigate to a file in @vscode.dev, how do you determine which file is which without using the mouse? Difference between these files is that these are in two different directories. If I mouse over them, I can see the directory. But I don't want to use my mouse.

Here they are... The red ones I changed, and the green one I used to change, I'm glad they got rid of it because OMG... Also: sticky keys... Usually after they try to activate because I'm holding a key down too long...

Saw this on that scummy site...

I think I can explain why the browser link icon is what is it... The icon appears to actually mean "refresh linked browser(s)"... and the refresh icon in Edge and Windows Explorer is clockwise (although rotated slightly, so it's not a direct representation).

To close the loop, this is the comment I was referring to: www.reddit.com/r/dotnet/com...

Shared with a screenshot of it in case it too gets deleted.

This makes me sad to not see it... Although in the comments OP seems to indicate they will reupload in the future with some other info to connect the dots on how the project used blazor and such...

I have an A&D Bluetooth one. The app it suggested is replaced with this new one that is much better. I ended up using the cuff from the first one I got which was also an A&D non-bluetooth model. The main thing in my experience is to make sure you get the right sized cuff.

Ok, it's definitely this setting that I'm pretty sure I turned off... I had to turn it back on, I then restarted, and while it still didn't bring recent items back, as soon as I opened VS Code, it's JumpList of locations was back. Visual Studio's still isn't, but that one wasn't used nearly as much.

I mean... That's possible, but since search on Windows 11 doesn't seem to show that as a setting...

Meanwhile Windows 10 finds some settings for the Start menu... Perhaps I need to look in the Windows 11 settings for start menu 🤔

Facebook feeding me @justinseitz.bsky.social content, but without attributing it to him.

This is also in Visual Studio. Not sure about customizing the colours though.

I mean... Perhaps... But look at this... And James didn't stop me from pressing buttons 😅

I don't have an option to manage the subscription... I get an email each month telling me that I continue to get access to it for another month.

Not gonna lie, it seeks like @revdaniel.bsky.social and @lookitup.baby coordinated this...
