Just a guy with a laptop and a dream.
I went to this website to read about pesky cookie banners but this was the first thing I saw. 🫠

If you’re not a fan of Liquid Glass give this a try:

1. Settings
2. Accessibility
3. Display & Text Size
4. Reduce Transparency

ugh and this janky half-off-the-screen popover when you long press on a playlist just caused me to drop one onto another and now my Frank Sinatra is mixed with Sublime send help

I use VS Code every day 🥲

Oh you must mean this little tiny unlabeled button positioned so inconspicuously that I haven’t even noticed it after all this time.

That’s still an extra click. I just want to edit the SVG, not look at it.

At some point, @vscode.dev made Image Preview the default editor for SVGs. Here's how to change it back to text. 😅

Claude should show a usage bucket instead of a stark warning when usage gets low.

I don't love the iOS sniff, but the carousel was designed in such a way that, as new scroll events emerge in [currently] unsupportive browsers, the timing of the dots updating will improve the component automatically.

All of this to show these tiny dots.

I finished up a modern carousel using scroll snap over the weekend. In Chrome, the `scrollsnapchange` and `scrollsnapchanging` events made showing pagination dots an absolute breeze!

But Safari & Firefox don't support these events yet…

There are two types of people: those who dry cups upright and those who dry them upside down.

What do you call this UI component?

“Honey can you mow the lawn?”

No, it’s been raining for a week, it’s too wet.

“Honey can you mow the lawn?”

No, it’s been raining for a week, it’s too wet.“

Honey can you mow the lawn?”

FINE.

Result (it was too wet) 😅
