I did my part. Traded in my 2018 Tesla on Sunday for an Ioniq 5. I looooved my Tesla but Musk ruined it for me.

Each employee can eliminate federal tax withholding by increasing their exemptions. You need a system for individuals to pay those taxes to the state. The IRS would eventually penalize those individuals...if there is anyone left to determine the penalty. But it would be worth it.

I increased my exemptions to 99 for the current year . Not paying any Federal taxes currently but I don't want the penalty to hit me when I file next year. Assuming we still live in a democracy by September, I'll lower the exemptions and at least cover what was owed in taxes for 2024.

Wouldn't it be sweet if you could get people to give up their vehicles or turn off their phones for a day. We're woefully addicted to both.

Understood! On the other hand, you would still have time in July or August to bump up those tax deductions and get around the IRS penalty. Three or four months by a large enough group might get an interesting reaction.

We can stop Federal tax withholding on our pay right now. I'm clueless how much it might hurt them but it certainly won't help.

I 100% do not want this to be the reason but cancer can sometimes change your taste buds.
