I took our flag down today from our 20-25’ (point is it’s tall) flagpole. 😬 We live way up on a hill so no one will even see the empty pole but our Trumper neighbor (nice guy 🤷‍♀️ but we are red rural SW VA so that’s just what he knows). I’m reluctant to fly anything else but it looks so naked now. 😩

Not excited to leave the Bahamas where I have limited my news exposure to lower my cortisol for a few weeks. Sure wish we could all wake up from this nightmare.

Would be funny if they weren’t all so infuriating and this wasn’t an actual real-life nightmare.

Among the many horrible and destructive things happening is this massive national distraction. How can anybody be innovating, creating, or producing at their best when supposed leaders are hell-bent on destroying the country for their personal benefit? ARGH!!

This is what we worked on part of the weekend. I love being outside and having jobs like this that keep me from thinking about the dumpster fire country we live in. Bryan lifted the big logs with the tractor and cut them, then I hauled the logs.

Thinking of my family member, who I am certain is not on here, who is a devout Trumper…and in a same-sex marriage, and with an adopted daughter from Central America, and with a daughter in an interracial relationship. It just does not compute!!! 🤦‍♀️
