I think this is the problem with any code generator. I’ve always thought the better solution is to not generate code (or only generate it at runtime)

I think you can’t *know* without running the app and tests? “The readme for the gem said I had to change this setting fro X to Y” which may or may not be needed by the next upgrade but now other code has been written assuming a thing works a certain way but not knowing *why*

If you need to change a setting you need to change a setting. Wouldn’t this declare the setting in two places?

33 million people saw Musk's post suggesting that a federal scientist held a "fake job." His out of hand dismissal of her occurred most likely because "diversification" in her job title sounds like "diversity." But fine, lets put this guy in charge of fixing the government. What could go wrong?
