So, couldn't a member of the intelligence committee just ask Jeffrey Goldberg for a transcript of the full text chat? Seems like they absolutely could. @wyden.senate.gov @booker.senate.gov

Someone should submit a bill that changes who does and does not lose pay if government shuts down. All members of Congress, the President, his cabinet, and entire administration should lose their pay. Federal employees like post office workers, etc along with members of the military should not...

@fetterman.senate.gov, another republican who ran on democratic ticket to get elected. How about a bill that still pays our military during a government shutdown, but NOT members of congress? The military actually do their job, but members of congress, not so much.Trump is proof they aren't needed.
The weeks of performative “resistance” from those in my party were limited to undignified antics.

Voting to shut the government down will punish millions or risk a recession.

I disagree with many points in the CR, but I will never vote to shut our government down.

The way people act like they won’t actually cut Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security gives similar vibes to when they acted like they wouldn’t actually overturn Roe

Stop underestimating them

@sanders.senate.gov @booker.senate.gov Question...If Republicans continue to call Social Security a entitlement and cut it, are we, the people who worked and paid into it our entire working life, going to be able to get a refund for the full amount of all money paid in? Just asking....

So, I've been trying to figure this out and would love to have a member of congress explain it to me...I have PAID into S.S. my whole working life. How is it considered a entitlement and where has my money gone? Why is this never questioned by the media during interviews with any congressmen? 🤔
