Indeed. A lot of games that are deemed as trash are still well made but maybe just lacking in some certain aspects.

As you can see there is plenty of details here. And I have even added some plant overgrowth on these houses here. From time to time as it is close to the slum center many gang members have also tried taking control of the area.
